Sivananda- Praveen Public School, an institute dedicated to the cause of education was established in the year 1992 by Shri Narinder Kumar Sharma to commemorate the life of H.H. Sri Swami Sivananda Ji Maharaj. The foundation stone was laid down by H.H. Sri Swami Premananda ji Maharaj, revered saint from Divine Life society – Rishikesh on command of his master Sri Swami Sivananda Ji . Our Chairman Sh Narinder Kumar Sharma had a firm belief that social upliftment can only be possible through education. So, he always laid stress on education as service to humanity & mankind. It was his long-cherished dream to open a school of repute which would impart education to students from all sections of society not only on modern techniques but where ethical, mental, physical, and spiritual values are also taken care of. A concrete shape was given to his dream by the society of educationists formed by him in the name of Sivananda – Praveen Jan Kalyan Trust, under the able guidance of almighty lord and Sh Narinder Kumar Sharma ji and thus with his untiring and unstinted efforts Sivananda – Praveen Public School came into existence in 1999 at its present location with a sprawling campus of 2.5 acres of land.

Sivananda – Praveen Public School was affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi in the year 2001. Since then, the school is preparing its students as a future responsible citizen of the nation. Moreover, it was upgraded from Secondary level to Senior Secondary level by CBSE in the year 2017. Realizing the value of the dictum “A Sound Mind resides in a Sound Body”, the school provides to its students play grounds for all major games and all major facilities which can play a pivotal role in bringing out the best out of its students and prepare them for future challenges .
